ギリシャは自分で行ったので、やたらと写真が多いです^^;
There are many pictures of Greek traffic lights because I travelled there! I love Greek characters :)

Page 2: 押しボタン Push-button 信号機の標識 Sign for Lights】 （おまけ）踏切 Railroad Crossing
まずは、アテネで撮った普通の信号機。左2つはシンタグマ広場 (Πλατεία Συντάγματος)周辺で、右はエーゲ海クルーズに行く途中にオリンピアパレスホテルの近くで撮った。
外国だけあって（？）、縦型３つのライトだ。てか横型って見たことないな。日本だけ？
左の写真ではちゃんと歩行者信号がついてるが、右（真ん中の信号機）ではなぜかついていない。点滅していたのか、はたまた壊れたか？
ちなみに、左の写真の奥に写っている看板には「エレフセリオス・ヴェニゼロス空港」と書いてあります。よく目を凝らせば飛行機のマークが見えるはず。
The first two pictures were taken near Syntagma Square (Πλατεία Συντάγματος) and the last one was taken near Olympia Palace Hotel.
As is often the case with other European countries the lights are vertical.
Somehow the pedestrian light in the right (in the middle picture) has no flashing lights. Was it broken?
The blue sign in the first (left) pic says 'Airport El. Venizelos' (Αεροδρόμιο Ελ. Βενιζέλος). Perhaps you can find the symbol of airplane.

緑の矢印は「矢印の方向なら進める」でいいと思うが、赤は「矢印の方向に進んではいけない」なんだろか？ それとも緑と同じなのか？
歩行者なら信号が分からなくても、車が来なかったり地元の人が渡り始めたりしたら行っていいと思うが、車運転してると読めないと困りそうだ。
レンタカー借りた人はどうしたんだろう。事前に信号ガイドブックでも読むんだろうか。
ちなみに、ギリシャの歩行者はみんな信号守りません。
少しでも車が切れるとスタスタ渡り始めます。お陰で、日本に帰ってからも、赤信号だろうと車が来なければ渡ろうとする癖がついてしまいました。
〈2012年4月11日追記〉ギリシャ人の友人が看板の意味を教えてくれました。

国会議事堂の近くで撮ったんだったかな？
I guess green arrows mean 'you can go to this direction' but what about red arrows? 'you can't go to that direction'?
Pedestrians like me won't have a problem even if they can't understand the signs (when there are no cars, it's the time to cross), but it would be a big problem for drivers if they can't read signs.
Unlike Japanese people, Greek people crossed streets with red lights.
You shouldn't do that in Japan. I was once yelled by somebody when crossing the street with red light, but there was no car at all!
My Greek friend told me the meaning of the sign in the left picture. Thank you!

矢印じゃなくて記号の信号機もあった。
上から− ・ ｜ となっている。
｜は直進していいってことか？ ・は黄色と同じ？？
さっぱり分からない。It's Greek to me!!
There were some lights with mysterious symbols (from top to bottom) [− ・ ｜].
Does ｜ mean 'go straight'? Is the small circle same as amber?
