16. インド　India (part 1)

海外放浪してきた友人の土産写真。
さすがインドだけあってカレー色の信号機である（絶対違う）。
写真が小さいので見づらいが、時間表示の上にはSHAKTI ENTERPRISESと書かれている。シャクティがなんだか知らないけれど、インドでは数年前にシャクティマーン（スーパーマンのパクリみたいなマンガ）が流行っていたから、きっと何かいい意味のヒンディー語に違いない……。

This picture was taken by my friend WRN, who has travelled over 100 countries!! He must be crazy about travelling foreign countries.

I guess the traffic light is painted in yellow to represent Indian curry!

There's a sign 'SHAKTI ENTERPRISES' above the light (with countdown number).
I know nothing about Hindi, but I heard about a superman like character named Shaktiman, so I guess shakti is something good, e.g. super.

ずっと前に友人からもらった写真。
うっかり放置してた。

彼女のコメントによると「標識の人がちょっと小太りっぽい」そうだ。

My friend, who performed a play in Urdu/Hindi all over India gave me this photo.
She told me the guy in the sign looks a bit plump to her.
